For the past four years, Nary May’s heart belonged to Saxon “Vicious” Black. Despite the painful reality of unrequited love, her feelings never strayed, no matter what he did. But there comes a time when surviving means letting go.
What she never expected was to find herself fighting for her life and trying to survive a new form of torment threatening to swallow her whole.
Saxon was broken. Never feeling worthy, the last thing he ever wanted to do was taint the woman he loved. But it was easier to push and walk away than leave himself open for more heartache. However, when faced with the possibility of losing Nary to the monsters that invade her dreams, the time to run was over.
To save her means risking it all, but to continue living without his heart was no longer an option.
***WARNING contains explicit sexual situations, violence, disturbingly sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language, and very mature topics. Recommended for age 18 years and up***
Please note This is book #4 in an MC spin-off series, but it's more based on the hero finding his love interest than club business.
Next in the series Walkout (novella)

"I HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS STORY! I was so excited to see this one come and out and this story does not disappoint at all. First off Nary has gone through so much and then to hear about her begin taken and then what happens to her in that place was heartbreaking and no matter how many times I have read it, it still makes me cry. Over the last few books you can’t help but hate Saxon and wish Nary to move on but when you read about his reaction to her being taken and his behavior after and during makes you love him again. Saxon is someone that has an awful past and wanted more for his love than someone “bad†or “ruined†like he thought he was. You can’t help but feel for him when he tells his story and I think that he is the exact man for Nary and I am so glad that this story unfolded the way that it did. I have to say out of all of Lila Rose’s stories this is my all-time favorite and that was not an easy choice. I also think the addition of another character from a different series was an interesting take and addition and not going to lie a great seller for people to read another author!

Living Without eBook Lila Rose Hot Tree Editing Sara Eirew Reviews
- Ok, after reading some of the reviews, I was holding out reading this one. I mean, I just found this series a week ago and have read each one right through, but there was so much hidden warning in the reviews I wasn't sure I had the emotional ability to handle it. No one mentioned the specifics and that added to it.
Well for those who haven't read it yet..go ahead and get. There is sexual assault (sorry had to warn you), but it is not graphic or salacious at all. It will tug in heart strings,Mobutu you can get through it and it's integral to the story.
That being said..this was a great story for Nary and Saxon..the only thing I would have preferred to see was some counseling for Nary and Kelsey..you can't go through something like that and not need some external support, but the story or Narys abduction, what she and Kelsey endured, the rescue, the retribution, the healing, and the resurrection was the best. The story was perfect and watching the "new" Nary come back was awesome.
We were introduced to some new characters..found a lost one and are ready for the continued saga of the Hawks MC and their pursuit of the women they love.
Great read. - Hawks MC series and Hawks MC Caroline Springs Chapter series are among my all time favorite series and books. I have been waiting for Nary and Saxon's book for so long and it was well worth the wait. This book was magnificent. I felt like I did not really take a breath and was riveted to what I was reading. Saxon like all Hawks men is a possesive alpha male (thank goodness because I love my alphas) and I love everything about him. I have always loved Nary because she is spunky, sassy and a really strong heroine. The road to Nary and Saxon's HEA is at times heartbreaking, but beautiful in the end. If you have not read any of the books in this series I recommend HIGHLY that you do because they are all so fantastic (I have done and will continue to do many re-reads). If you are not able to get them all at this time, while this book can be techically read as a standalone, I recommend at least reading No Way Out. That is the book that introduces Nary and Saxon and how they met. I cannot wait to read what comes next (I hope it is Dallas and Melissa). One-click Living Without today and you will not be disappointed. (Note I loved Gypsy from the Rebel Wayfarers MC and I hope that MariaLisa deMora will write Gypsy and Kelsey's story because I would LOVE to read it).

Looking for more books and reviews? Check out my blog whenireadilive @blogspot.com - Lila Rose is among my favorite MC authors. Her stories are filled with MC adventures, and the crews and citizens are always well developed, lots of alpha, or not, lots of strong ladies too, and wonderful to read.
This book is about Hawks MCCaroline Springs Charter and its enemies. This is Nary and Saxon's story, and it is quite the story. Nary's heart belongs to Saxon, and her love is unrequited, or so she thinks, and tries to move forward with Jeremiah, who she discovers is a member of Venom MC, and she is shocked, but he promises he wants to leave them.. Saxon is just as rude and mean to here as he can be, but when Nary is kidnapped by a vicious enemy of the Hawks MC, Baxter Davis while she's at university.. Baxter Davis is known for his severe cruelty, his hatred of Hawks MC is no secret either. This is when Saxon's true feelings for Nary come out.
Nary is the princess of this MC charter, and it is imperative that they get her back unharmed, and fast! Saxon is now out for blood, and he isn't too fussy how he gets or who it is either. Nary is his, and he isn't letting her die at enemy/rival hands for any reason!
Nary is thrown in a dark, musty room with another young woman, Kelsey. Kelsey had been abducted too, and had been there for months, and was abused physically, mentally and sexually by Davis and his men whenever they had the urge. Nary was horrified, and thinking about her own fate at this monster's hands. Little did she know that even though Davis wanted to do all sorts of bad sexual things to Nary, he planned to sell her to the highest bidder, and rub it in the noses of Hawks MC. They would never find her!
Nary was determined that she and Kelsey would get through this nightmare together, but there were moments that she was beginning to give up hope that anyone was coming for her. Davis forced her to take a series of suggestive photographs for prospective buyers, but shamed Nary to her core, and she silently hoped no one in Hawks would ever know. Unfortunately for Nary, Davis had other ideas. He sent copies to the MC to let them know he indeed had Nary, and he had big plans for her that didn't include returning her to the MC.
The MC ended up calling for help from the US chapter, and plan was formed once they found where Davis was holding Nary. The plan was executed, Nary was rescued but she insisted that Kelsey came with them. Kelsey attached herself, literally, to Gypsy who saved her and carried her out of the hell hole that had been her life for nearly a year.
Saxon wanted Davis dead, and all his men. He wanted Nary home and safe, and to know how he really felt about her. Nary tried to pull herself together, but her ordeal overwhelmed her, and she was so ashamed the club saw those photos she didn't want to face any of them. While Davis did nasty sexual things to her he left her virginity in tack to fetch a higher price when he sold her. That was about all Nary was grateful to him for.
Kelsey went back to the States with Gypsy. She didn't want to be parted from him, and Gypsy didn't mind one bit.
Nary was alone now, but Saxon was determined to get her back into the world and into his arms for good. It was a challenge, but he did it, and they had the happily ever after they both wanted. Nary was the light to his dark, and Saxon was her hero. All was well in their world.
As always a great Lila Rose MC read!
