Forbidden Daddy A Single Dad Nanny Romance edition by Natasha L Black Romance eBooks Reviews

  • This book gave me all the feels. I so enjoyed this book!
Blake lost his wife a year ago and can't seem to get his head out of the constant fog. He knows his son, Connor, needs him but he just can't
He gets a call from his best bud, Hollis, and is quite shocked when Hollis tells him that his little sister is coming to help, she'll be Connor's nanny
When Hollis tells Aly that he's arranged for her make more money with one job than with her two and be able to keep up with her college courses she's flabbergasted... She has to move from San Francisco to Boston though...
Aly arrives in Boston and can't believe Blake is sexier now than he was when he was younger; she still has a bit of a crush on him.
Their attraction is beyond crazy and the sex is HAWT
When she discovers she's pregnant she can't tell Blake but what will Blake do when he finds out?
    I loved this book
  • Two people starting separate paths as kids growing up and venturing towards lives they thought was their path, only to realize once back together it's a different path they follow. They both needed to wake up in order to obtain their happy ever after. No cheating or cliffhanger, and there is some steamy intimacy scenes. About midway the proofreading grew quite a few glitches. Overall quality of writing was good. Enjoy.
  • Such a remarkable book! Older man younger woman romances are one of my favorites! This book is no exception. Blake and Cooper are trying to move on with their lives. But the death of Blake's wife has taken a toll on both of them. When Blake's best friend sends his daughter Aly over to be Cooper's nanny, well lets say the sparks fly and Aly helps both Blake and Cooper cope and move on from the death that rocked their world. Steamy, sweet, loving and so much goodness to read, I could not put this down! Don't miss out on this one! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book!
  • This book was fantastic. It was written very well. And Natasha Black is quickly becoming a favorite new author of mine. She is quickly moving up in the ranks. I just purchased 2 more of her books. I have another book to read then I'm reading those.

The one thing I enjoyed the most was Cooper (Blake's son). He really made the story. He was so lovable and I really liked him. I loved his relationship with Blake and Aly. Cooper was a significant part of the story and I really enjoyed his role. He didn't like sports and that is ok. He liked cooking and I find that admirable. It takes a strong willed person to believe in himself. And he really loved it up and only being 8 years old, he made the difference. He ended up showing Blake that mistake he was making.

This book was so special and it really made an impact on me. It was so sweet. And unfortunately Blake's wife passed away; but he loved her. He missed her. He grieved for her. But he found something special with Aly. This book was made for all the feels. It really got to me. I found myself pausing a couple of times. Not really tearing up, but needing a moment. I really liked Blake and Aly together. They had some serious chemistry. I loved their interactions and their intimate moments. The dialogue was spot on. They played out well.

I really enjoyed this book. I can't say enough.
  • If you like older man/younger woman romances, you will enjoy this book. I really liked the characters. They were interesting, well-developed and have chemistry. The story is interesting, well-written with a happily ever after. In addition to receiving an arc, I purchased the book for my collection.
  • Poor Blake and his son Conner - they are grieving the loss of a wife and mother. Blake knows he needs help, and thru his good friend, Aly comes into their lives to take care of especially Conner. Aly and Blake have known each other their whole life and Aly's always had a crush on Blake. Blake "tries" to stay away from Aly, but loves how she interacts with Conner and how their lives had been changed for the best. I highly recommend this book.
  • Sometimes a trope can become predictable and hard to read. Ms.Black managed to keep this single father/nanny story interesting and entertaining. The characters were likable(especially Cooper) and believable. This story is definitely going on the "keeper shelf".

*I received an Advance Reader's Copy as well as purchasing a copy which I am voluntarily reviewing*
